Dean Lennox Kelly
Dean Lennox Kelly is an English actor known for a variety of roles across film and television. He is recognised for the portrayals of Kev Ball in Shameless, Meredith Rutter in Jamestown, and more recently Pekka Rollins in the popular Netflix adaptation of Shadow and Bone.
Kelly graduated from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and debuted on screen with the role of Martin Beasley in Peak Practice in 1998. Coinciding with a number of roles on stage, Kelly has since built a reputable portfolio of roles in television series such as The Worst Week of My Life, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Doctor Who, The Passion, Collision, Shameless, Fleming, Maryland, Tom Jones, Brassic and Jamestown.
Kelly’s film credits also carry substantial weight, appearing alongside Chris O’Dowd and Anna Farris in Frequently Asked Question About Time Travel in the role of Pete, whilst also making appearances in The Secret Life of Words and Deathwatch.
In 2021, Kelly joined the cast for the Netflix adaptation of beloved Leigh Bardugo novels, Shadow and Bone, as Ketterdam crime boss Pekka Rollins.
