Luke Roberts is a British actor known for his performances across television and film. With a career spanning a variety of genres, he has gained recognition for roles in major productions such as Ransom, Black Sails, Game of Thrones, and The Batman.

Roberts was born in England and developed a passion for acting at a young age. He pursued this interest by studying at the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA), which provided him with the foundation to hone his craft and establish himself as a versatile actor.

Roberts' first major role came in the TV series Ransom (2017), where he played the skilled hostage negotiator Eric Beaumont. His portrayal of a calm yet emotionally driven professional earned him praise and opened doors to larger roles. However, it was his performance in Black Sails (2014–2017) that truly showcased his ability to tackle complex characters. As the ruthless and calculating pirate hunter Woodes Rogers, Roberts brought depth and intensity to the role, captivating viewers with his portrayal of a character caught in moral conflict.

In addition to roles in Game of Thrones, Holby City, and Wolf Hall, Roberts also appeared in The Batman (2022), where his nuanced performance added to the dark and gritty atmosphere of the film as Thomas Wayne.

In the world of video games, Roberts has lent his voice to characters such as Cutter Slade in Outcast: A New Beginning and, more recently, James Sunderland in popular horror game Silent Hill 2.
