Elliott Tittensor
Elliott Tittensor is an English actor known for a variety of roles across film and television, best recognised by fans as Carl Gallagher in Shameless and most recently as Ser Erryk Cargyll in HBO’s House of the Dragon.
Elliott and his twin brother Luke split the role of Carl Gallagher in Shameless for season 1, with Elliott continuing in the role once his brother moved to film Emmerdale. Tittensor carried the characters storyline in Shameless for more than 100 episodes, firmly solidifying him as a fan favourite. Tittensor’s other credits include the likes of Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk and the 2012 British cult comedy hit, Spike Island, a movie based on the Stone Roses’ seminal gig.
In 2022, Tittensor stepped into the boots of Ser Erryk Cargyll, a renowned knight and member of the Kingsguard, in HBO’s House of the Dragon. Following the death of the King he served, Ser Erryk joins the Queensguard of the rightful Queen, Rhaenyra and her Blacks. Adding an extra dimension to the role, Tittensor stars alongside his twin brother Luke, who portrays the role of Ser Arryk Cargyll.
