Harry McEntire
Harry McEntire is an English actor known for a variety of roles across film and television, most notably for the portrayal of Aethelwold in the historical fiction series, The Last Kingdom.
With several television and web series credits under his belt, McEntire began turning heads in 2009 when his theatre roles were met with high acclaim. Productions such as A Thousand Stars Explode in the Sky and Spring Awakening helped the young actor hone the necessary skills that would later be transferred to the screen, building a passion for storytelling in the process.
Whilst retaining a stage presence, McEntire built a portfolio of diverse roles in other formats, appearing in films and television series such as Tower Block, Episodes, Father Brown, and Prisoners’ Wives.
Undoubtedly many fans will now recognise McEntire as Aethelwold from The Last Kingdom, a character with one of the most interesting arcs in the first three seasons. McEntire also lent his voice to the video game characters of Hunwald in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Armand in Valkyrie Elysium and the lead role of Noah in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
Most recently, McEntire can be seen as an Imperial Weapons Specialist in acclaimed Star Wars series Andor, and can be heard in Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget and in the supremely popular Final Fantasy XVI. McEntire can be heard as the male voice of the lead character Vriden Gerr in the cult hit game, GreedFall 2: The Dying World.
