Luke Pasqualino
Luke Pasqualino is a British actor of Italian descent, known for a variety of roles across film and television. He is most recognised by fans for his portrayals of Freddie McClair in Skins, d’Artagnan in The Musketeers, David Kostyk in the Netflix series Shadow and Bone and Bas Baddingham in Disney Plus’s Rivals.
Pasqualino made his acting debut back in 2009, bringing a fresh face and new energy to several projects, one of which included Skins in the role of Freddie. Appearing across two seasons, Pasqualino quickly secured a permanent position within the hearts of the fandom.
Following this early success, Luke went on to portray Paolo in Showtime’s The Borgias and appeared in The Apparition. He was chosen to play a young William Adama in the prequel Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome and appeared as Gray in the movie Snowpiercer, alongside an incredible ensemble cast.
Pasqualino’s next huge role was the lead of d’Artagnan for the BBC drama The Musketeers. Quickly becoming a firm fan favourite, Luke appeared in every episode of the show. This was followed by another main role on the television adaptation of Snatch, playing Albert Hill. This was followed by another popular role – Elvis Harte in Our Girl.
Taking on more popular television roles, Luke can be seen as Maurizio in Shantaram, and as the Grisha David Kostyk in Netflix’s Shadow and Bone. David is another fan favourite role from a popular series, based on the books of the same name, and is key to the plot of both seasons.
2024 was a bumper year for Pasqualino, with three popular projects releasing. He can be seen as Xavier Valens in Rematch, Wulf in the animated hit The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim, and as Bas Baddingham in Disney Plus’s smash hit Rivals.
