Max Wrottesley is an English actor whose versatility has stretched across screens both big and small. With a career spanning decades, Max has captivated audiences with his compelling portrayals, from the enigmatic Michael in Open Grave and the charming Phil in Love Me Do, to his latest standout role as Ser Lorent Marbrand in HBO's epic House of the Dragon.
Max's acting journey began in 1996 with his role as Vince in The Biz, a performance that spanned across two seasons. Since then, he's built an impressive repertoire, gracing series such as Casualty, Holby City, 24: Live Another Day, Silent Witness, and Banged Up Abroad.
On the silver screen, Max's talents shine in a range of films including Martin Scorsese’s Hugo, The Cosmonaut, Diana, and Guardians of the Galaxy. His role in Love Me Do earned him the prestigious 2016 IIFC Award for Best Supporting Actor, underscoring his remarkable ability to bring depth to every character he embodies.
