Tony Way
Tony Way is an English writer, actor and comedian known for a variety of roles across film and television, most notably the portrayals of Dontos Hollard in Game of Thrones, Lenny in After Life, and Kimmel in Edge of Tomorrow.
Kick starting his career in comedy at the age of 17, Way and several friends formed a comedy sketch group called ‘Stay Alive Pepi’ whilst in college. Bob Mortimer and Charlie Higson, a duo who became key instigators for Way’s professional career, soon noticed the group's videos and cast Way in several sketches for Bang, Bang, It’s Reeves and Mortimer and The Fast Show. Soon after, Way wrote and performed in numerous comedy productions such as Spaced, Mongrels, Extras, Black Books, and Tittybangbang.
A versatile actor across multiple genres, Way has appeared in various films including The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Ali G Indahouse, Down Terrace, and Sightseers.
In 2012, Way secured the role of Dontos Hollard in HBO’s Game of Thrones, a reoccurring character in the early seasons until meeting his death by the hands of Petyr Baelish. In 2014, Way tested the waters with the science fiction genre being cast in Edge of Tomorrow and making an appearance in Doctor Who.
Tony Way has most recently portrayed Jon the News in Dodger, andthe role of Lenny in Ricky Gervais’s After Life.
